Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience with Workday implementations
  • Ideate, Develop and maintain custom Workday extend applications.
  • Design intuitive, customer-facing interfaces with strong UI/UX principles in mind.
  • Work closely with Business, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that Extend application meet those requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for extend application, including process flows and technical specifications.
  • Serve as a Workday Extend expert with deep knowledge of design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas in consideration of future product direction.
  • Experienced in Workday Integrations, APIs(Rest and SOAP) as well as Workday Security.
  • Ensures Workday Extend applications are built with right security, reliability as well as delivering exceptional user experience.
  • Manage the testing and deployment of Workday Extend applications, including coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring that testing is thorough and complete.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features, and work with the team to evaluate and implement new functionality as appropriate. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, and ensure that team members are engaged, motivated, and productive.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Workday Extend and Workday Integrations certification (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in HR technology, with a focus on Workday Extend
  • Strong technical skills, including demonstrated experience with Workday Extend
  • Experience knowledge of XML, XSLT, Web services, SOAP, REST, JSON, JavaScript and other integration technologies.
  • Experience on EIBs, Packaged Connectors, Webservices, Workday Studio and other integration tools.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stays current with emerging trends in specialty area.
  • Creates transition plans for new processes, implements and monitor's change.
  • Reviews and assess solutions proposed by others to determine the best path moving forward.

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $110,880 to $210,600 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $122,040 to $252,840

Colorado: $110,880 to $210,600

New York City: $133,080 to $252,840

Washington: $122,040 to $231,720

Washington DC: $122,040 to $231,720

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
