The Role

Overall:

  • Develop, create, and deploy strategic content that clearly communicates the priorities of Kyndryl's business in Korea, raises the profile of its business leaders, and deepens stakeholders' understanding and belief in Kyndryl.

Employee Communications:

  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support business goals and cultural alignment.
  • Create clear and engaging content for internal channels such as emails, newsletters, intranet, and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams).
  • Plan and manage company-wide communications related to organizational updates, leadership messages, and change management.
  • Partner with HR, leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure communication consistency and support key employee programs (e.g., belonging and inclusion, engagement surveys, learning & development).
  • Organize and support internal events such as town halls, Q&A sessions, and employee recognition programs.
  • Develop visual and multimedia content (videos, presentations) to enhance communication effectiveness.
  • Measure communication effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and continuously optimize based on insights.

Executive Communications:

  • Develop and implement executive communication strategies that position leadership as trusted voices internally and externally.
  • Craft high-impact speeches, talking points, op-eds, keynote presentations, leadership emails, and social media content (e.g., LinkedIn posts).
  • Collaborate with executives to define key messages, narrative frameworks, and storytelling angles aligned with business priorities.
  • Manage executive communications for major events such as internal town halls, customer meetings, media briefings, and industry conferences.
  • Support content development and messaging for customer engagements.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of executive messaging with overall corporate communications.
  • Provide coaching and prep materials to executives ahead of media appearances or public speaking opportunities.
  • Monitor public and employee feedback to refine communication tone and approach.

External Relations:

  • Lead the development and implementation of PR and media strategies to promote the company's brand, thought leadership, and business initiatives.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, Q&As, and briefing documents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry analysts.
  • Support spokespersons in preparing for media interviews, press conferences, and public events.
  • Monitor media coverage and manage media inquiries, issues, or crisis communications as needed.
  • Support partnerships, sponsorships, and external campaigns by coordinating with marketing and business teams.
  • Collaborate on content development for the corporate website and social media related to external engagement.
  • Track PR metrics and report on media performance and sentiment analysis.

Who You Are

  • 9-12 years of experience in communications, including a PR agency background.
  • Proven ability to distill complex topics into coherent, understandable messages and storylines.
  • Strong relationships with media.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic communications plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - both in English and Korean.
  • Ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across a global corporate environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
