The Role

The Site Lead for Office and Data Center is a key role within the RDC team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, management, and optimization of our facilities. This role ensures facilities are safe, compliant, efficient, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals, while delivering exceptional employee and operational experiences. This function plays a primary customer relationship management role. The Site Lead reports into the Territory Leads.

Facility Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage site operations and asset governance
  • Manage site costs; identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality service delivery
  • Represent RDC and Kyndryl to service partners and the external community; act as centralized gatekeeper for site project execution
  • Drive RE&F project management standards, methodologies, processes, and governance
  • Leverage site resources (people, technology, communication) and partner with stakeholders to deliver operational capabilities
  • Oversee implementation of request processes for real estate, construction, and FM services
  • Maintain comprehensive site records for audit and reporting purposes
  • Manage third-party provider performance at the site level; may negotiate contracts for optimal service and cost efficiency
  • Ensure data integrity for site-level information
  • Build and maintain credibility with the business
  • Execute global initiatives and implement global standards, technologies, and best practices
  • Contribute to annual business planning and Opex/Capex budgeting at the regional level
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and support partners (IT, Comms, Legal, EHS, HR, Security, etc.)
  • Act as project manager for site projects as needed

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on transactions, project activities, and portfolio performance
