The Role
Kyndryl is seeking an experienced, integrated communications expert to support our business in Belgium and Luxembourg. The expert would be responsible for helping to lead executive communications (internal and external) for the Managing Director of our Belux team, as well as media relations, employee communications, and social media for the business unit.

We need someone who can distill complex topics into coherent understandable messages and storylines, who also knows how to ask the right questions of experienced subject matter experts to translate technical materials into compelling and understandable narratives. The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility and diplomacy to work with colleagues and stakeholders across a global corporate environment.
Responsibilities would include:
- EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS: We're interested in a candidate who has a passion for discovering and cultivating thought leadership opportunities that consistently elevate the eminence of Kyndryl's business strategy and progress in news and feature stories written by journalists, influencers, and other external influencers. The role requires a curious and ambitious media relations expert who is driven to proactively uncover and develop external editorial opportunities, generate, monitor, and track results. This includes maintaining media relations across Belux as well as expertise in media monitoring, storytelling, media pitching, written content, and digital and social media.
- INTERNAL AND EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS: Gain deep understanding of employee cohorts across the designated markets and develop relevant content to inspire and motivate them around Kyndryl Belux mission and purpose. Establish a framework for consistent and high-quality executive communications to stakeholders. Produce newsletters, blogs, videos, social media posts, and/or other engagement vehicles. Produce live events, virtual and in-person, including town halls and employee trainings. This will require strong writing skills, speech writing, channel management, digital and social media, presentation development and project management.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Establish and maintain a solid internal and external network of collaborators and stakeholders. Collaborate with senior business leaders, provide advice and counsel, and articulate an informed point of view on how strategic communications can advance the business goals. This person will partner with other departments across Kyndryl and the global Kyndryl Corporate Affairs function to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate strategic internal communications.
- CHANNEL MANAGEMENT: Maintain complex mailing lists; manage internal SharePoint pages, online employee communities, and newsletters; advise on stakeholder communications; and oversee and refine social media strategies.
- ISSUES MANAGEMENT: This person will also be responsible for managing local issues in the Belux region, together with support from the SM EMEA comms and global SM Comms leadership. This includes analyzing a situation and determining its potential physical or reputational risk and acting quickly to formulate a strong communications strategy to help mitigate risk, communicate with affected parties and help drive towards a resolution of the matter with local leadership. This includes expertise in executive liaison, public policy, channel management, stakeholder analysis, recovery planning, and media relations skills.
- MEASUREMENT: Measure and assess data to evaluate and evolve approaches to making data-driven recommendations for improving communications programs. Analyze audience to understand strategic positioning, messages, and mediums that will be most effective. Use data to understand behaviors and sentiment, and to create programs that engage audiences with relevant information through a content and delivery ecosystem.
- EXECUTIVE EMINENCE: Assess and pursue potential thought leadership opportunities for key executives including speaking and media opportunities. Develop key narratives for executives that align with broader themes across Kyndryl SM EMEA. Leverage narratives to create compelling and effective content, such as media pitches, byline articles, blog posts, scripts for external speaking opportunities and social media content. Manage the development and creation of briefing documents, talking points and related materials and provide on-site and real-time support, as needed. Create and maintain executive engagements calendar in partnership with executives and broader SM COMMS globally.
Who You Are
- 10 Years of experience in managing Internal & External comms.
- Strong experience in managing stakeholders along with issues management.
- Experience in Developing key narratives for executives that align with broader themes across Kyndryl SM EMEA.
- Should be currently working in Belgium/Luxembourg Market.
- Open in terms of traveling local/outside.
