The Role

As a Data Management professional at Kyndryl, you'll be involved in creating innovative solutions that bring data to life. From building cutting-edge proof-of-concept models to architecting data systems tailored to client needs, you'll transform complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions. Your role will involve hands-on work with a diverse range of technologies, ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and bespoke data solutions. You'll be the go-to expert for users navigating highly technical, sophisticated data systems, with a deep understanding of both relational and non-relational database technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Database and System Administrator should provide highly specialized technical expertise to handle System and Database Administrator challenges.

  • Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle internals, performance tuning, and SQL optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux environments, storage management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and automation skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7 support environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration & architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle internals, performance tuning, and SQL optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux environments, storage management, and cloud databases (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure DB).
  • Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and automation skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7 support environment.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Oracle Database Administration
  • Oracle Certified Master (OCM) - Oracle Database

ITIL v4 Foundation (for incident & change management best practices)
