The Role

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced web developer to join our team of Platform Engineers.
You will be able to create engineering platforms by creating Internal Developer Portals and self-service models of the Platform Capabilities by APIs and integrations.
The ideal candidate is a technical expert with a strong background in TypeScript, Node.js, and React, capable of independently or collaboratively developing and maintaining.

If you have experience building IDP using solutions like Backstage, Port, Cortex, etc., or custom solutions, you are an ideal candidate.

Practice Overview: Our Platform Engineering service line delivers scalable, innovative cloud solutions, accelerating digital product delivery and enhancing client technology ecosystems. Platform Engineering lays the groundwork for creating an effective IDP by developing and integrating necessary components, such as infrastructure as code, service catalogues, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop IDPs for internal projects or customers.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and performance optimization of IDPs
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to refine user interfaces and improve user experiences.
  • Ensure high-quality code through best practices in testing and code reviews.
  • Maintain and update existing code to accommodate new features and improvements.
  • Assist with building and managing cloud-native architectures using containers (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless solutions or any other Cloud Native Service

As a professional developer helping in the design of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Tekton, Jenkins, etc.) from a developer perspective to improve Time to Market and Developer Experience

Who You Are

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience in web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Knowledge of development tools and technologies like Git, RESTful APIs, and content management systems.
  • A really good understanding of software development lifecycle, including testing landscape and advanced deployment techniques.
  • Frontend Platforms services, such as Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Akamai, CloudFront, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with server-side development (Java, PHP, Python and/or Go) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an Engineering team.
  • Basic hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to IaC tooling, containerized applications, and CI/CD practices.

Nice to Have:

  • Relevant certifications or current pursuit of certification.
  • Interest in observability, security practices, and advanced platform engineering methodologies.
