The Role
As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more. You will be a leader - contributing knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills. Your leadership will be demonstrated in your work, to your customers, and within your teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Leadership
- Lead SAP MM solution design, configuration, and deployment across multiple projects.
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) in procurement, inventory management, vendor evaluation, and material valuation processes.
- Define SAP MM strategies, process flows, and business blueprints.
- Project Execution
- Drive full lifecycle implementations, rollouts, and upgrades (ECC to S/4HANA).
- Provide leadership during requirement workshops, fit-gap analysis, and design discussions.
- Ensure seamless integration with FI/CO, SD, PP, WM, and Ariba.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom objects, enhancements, and complex reports.
- Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders to align SAP MM solutions with organizational goals.
- Provide thought leadership and advisory support on procurement digital transformation.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and project team members.
- Support & Continuous Improvement

- Manage AMS support activities, resolve high-priority incidents, and optimize system performance.
- Proactively recommend process improvements and implement SAP best practices.
- Keep updated on S/4HANA innovations (Fiori Apps, Central Procurement, Business Partner model).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP MM consulting experience with multiple full-cycle implementations.
- Deep expertise in:
- Procurement (P2P, Source-to-Pay, Vendor Management)
- Inventory Management & Material Valuation
- Logistics Invoice Verification & Release Strategies
- Subcontracting, Consignment, and Third-Party Procurement
- Strong integration knowledge with FI/CO, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and Ariba.
- Extensive SAP S/4HANA MM implementation/upgrade experience.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Strong functional and technical understanding of configuration, debugging, and testing.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
