The Role
As a Resource Manager within the Workforce Solutions (WS) team, you will play a critical role in aligning project staffing needs with available talent across the organization. You will be responsible for managing resource assignments in Workday Projects, collaborating with Project Planners, Strategic Resource Optimization(SRO) Team and Recruiters to ensure optimal staffing and workforce planning. This role requires strong coordination skills, data accuracy, and a proactive approach to managing both internal and external hiring pipelines.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project-level resource assignments and ensuring accurate updates in Workday Projects.
- Collaborating with Project Planners and SRO team to identify and assign appropriate talent to projects.
- Supporting the hiring process by coordinating with Talent Acquisition and participating in candidate evaluations.
- Maintaining and updating Resource Plan Lines (RPLs) in compliance with internal guidelines and timelines.
- Ensuring data integrity in Workday by validating assignment dates, skill tags, and supervisory organization details.
- Participating in strategic workforce planning initiatives, including pre-hire matching and capacity forecasting.
- Supporting the automation and education efforts related to Opportunity Projects and RPL processes.
Who You Are
Required:
- Proven experience in resource management, workforce planning, or project staffing in a large-scale organization.
- Familiarity with Workday Projects or similar enterprise resource planning tools.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Delivery, and Project Management teams.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in consulting or IT services industry.
- Understanding of RPL creation and maintenance processes.
- Knowledge of strategic workforce planning and capacity management.
- Familiarity with internal tools such as Workforce Dashboard, Opportunity Projects, and RDR (Resource Dynamics Review).
