Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward - always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

Kyndryl Project Managers oversee the delivery of major projects within scope, schedule, and budget. You are the driving force behind every aspect of a project's success-like a conductor, orchestrating everyone's efforts to create something harmonious. As the single point of contact for the client, you also serve as the living embodiment of Kyndryl's reputation every day.

As a Kyndryl Project Manager, you manage a full and detail-oriented calendar. You lead the development of detailed project plans, manage teams, and facilitate meetings, status checks, planning sessions, and cadence meetings. You analyze and mitigate risks, manage finances, and ensure your team has the right skills. You plan and delegate tasks, meet deadlines, deliver according to milestones, and ultimately ensure client satisfaction. Naturally, plans often change as projects evolve, so you must maintain a continuous structural mindset-taking ownership not just of scheduling, but of delivering real value.

Just as planning and organization are critical, communication makes up 90% of the job. You are the single point of contact for clients, partners, and all stakeholders-supporting them and ensuring they get what they need. You also serve as the bridge between all other project teams, including both technical and sales roles. This creates an exciting, multicultural, and often multilingual environment. Bottom line: you need to enjoy working with people, be kind and empathetic, yet assertive-and able to handle client change requests with diplomacy.

You'll meet many people, build networks, and form strong relationships. Our "one team with the customer" concept means you'll develop especially close partnerships with clients and others. Some projects or clients may even require you to be embedded on-site. This increases your personal visibility, but also gives you more opportunities to add value to the relationship. This is one of the reasons Kyndryl employees find their work so rewarding. It's a great way to sharpen your service and interpersonal skills, and it lays the foundation for both lateral and vertical career growth.

Your Future at Kyndryl

Becoming a Project Manager at Kyndryl is an excellent gateway to a variety of career paths. You'll gain a broad skill set while earning professional certifications and qualifications. You can move into other technical or non-technical areas, or advance to become a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager. With many types and specializations of project management roles, there's an opportunity that fits everyone.

Who You Are

You are highly skilled in your work and have accumulated the necessary experience to prove it. However, equally important is that you possess a growth mindset-a strong drive to grow both personally and professionally. You are customer-focused, someone who prioritizes customer success in your work. And finally, you are open and borderless, naturally inclusive in how you collaborate with others.
