Het beheer van het Container Platform is, samen met je collega's, jouw domein. Onder begeleiding van seniore collega's ondersteun je de eerste- en tweedelijns support en helpt hen met plezier en toewijding bij vragen en uitdagingen. Met jouw probleemoplossend vermogen draag je bij aan de samenwerking met development teams en help je bij projecten zoals Container onboarding en serverbeveiliging. Zo zorgen jullie er samen voor dat de configuratie altijd up-to-date en veilig blijft.

Je houdt de prestaties en beschikbaarheid van de IT-infrastructuur goed in de gaten, analyseert mogelijke problemen en denkt mee over verbeteringen. Waar nodig verdiep je je in de architectuur en beveiliging van het platform. Incidenteel bied je ondersteuning aan IT-infrastructuur teams bij complexere vraagstukken.
In deze rol is veel ruimte voor training en opleiding zodat je snel kunt doorgroeien en werken aan je kennis en kunde op het gebied van container platforms. Samen met je manager werk je aan een groeiplan voor de toekomst.
Who You Are
Jouw vaardigheden
Je hebt een passie voor containertechnologie en functioneert graag in een dynamische omgeving. Verder beschik je over:
- Enige ervaring met Kubernetes en bij voorkeur AKS, EKS of OpenShift
- Kennis van tools zoals Velero, Istio, Argo en Operators
- Ervaring met Git en infrastructuur als code (bijv. Terraform)
- Basiskennis van programmeertalen zoals PowerShell, GO, Python of Bash
- Begrip van securityprincipes en compliance best practices
- Bereidheid om stand-by te staan indien nodig (nog niet vereist in de projectfase)
Professionele en Technische Expertise
- Ervaring met scripten of programmeren
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden: je werkt graag in een team, maar kunt ook zelfstandig opereren en je voortgang helder overbrengen
- In staat om technische concepten op een begrijpelijke manier uit te leggen aan collega's en klanten
- Een kritische blik op kansen en verbeteringen binnen de engineering
- Je hebt praktijkervaring met: Linux, Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Red Hat OpenShift
Pre's (geen must, maar mooi meegenomen)
- Ervaring met het onboarden van ontwikkelteams in OpenShift
- Kennis van OpenShift Cluster systeemintegratie
- Ervaring met IAAS en Cloud
- Ervaring met systeemconfiguratie tools zoals Ansible of Bamboo
- Ervaring met scripten in Perl, Python, Shell Scripting, Ruby en/of PowerCLI
