The Role
Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure - good at providing analysis, documenting and diagraming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally "figuring it out." This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation and adoption of new SharePoint Online features from the Microsoft 365 roadmap.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and Power Automate flows for SharePoint automation.
- Design and manage SharePoint Online site architecture, permissions, and governance policies.
- Monitor and optimize SharePoint Online performance, storage, and compliance configurations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized SharePoint solutions.
- Manage SharePoint Online migrations, including content restructuring and metadata enrichment.
- Provide Tier 3 support for SharePoint Online issues and escalations.
- Integrate SharePoint with other M365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Viva, etc.).
- Maintain documentation for SharePoint configurations, automation scripts, and governance models.
- Conduct training and enablement sessions for business users and site owners.

Core SharePoint Admin Engineering Tasks:
- Site Collection Management: Creation, configuration, and lifecycle management including SharePoint Advanced Management.
- Permissions & Security: Role-based access control, external sharing policies, and auditing.
- Content Types & Metadata: Custom content types, site columns, and managed metadata.
- Automation: PowerShell scripting, Power Automate workflows, and API integrations.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Usage analytics, storage reports, and compliance tracking.
- Search Configuration: Custom search scopes, refiners, and result sources.
- Hub Sites & Navigation: Structuring hub sites and global navigation.
- Retention & Compliance: Implementing retention labels, policies, and eDiscovery.
- Customization: SPFx (SharePoint Framework), PnP provisioning templates, and branding.
- Roadmap Alignment: Tracking and implementing new features from Microsoft 365 roadmap.
AI & Agent Enablement Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Design, deploy, and manage SharePoint Agents to automate content discovery, streamline workflows, and enhance user productivity across SharePoint sites.
- Develop and customize Power Platform Agents using Power Virtual Agents and Copilot Studio to support business processes, including HR, IT support, and customer service.
- Integrate AI-powered assistants within SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to provide contextual, real-time responses to user queries, leveraging site-specific content and metadata.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI Builder to automate document processing, metadata extraction, and intelligent content classification.
- Create and manage .agent files within SharePoint, ensuring proper governance, compliance, and alignment with organizational security policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and agent deployment that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload.
- Implement AI-powered authoring tools to build engaging intranet pages using Copilot, Design Ideas, and flexible layouts that adapt to user needs and branding.
- Leverage Power Automate and AI features to orchestrate complex workflows, including approvals, notifications, and data enrichment across SharePoint and Power Platform.
- Monitor and optimize agent performance, ensuring high accuracy, relevance, and user satisfaction through continuous learning and feedback loops.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies in the Microsoft ecosystem, including SharePoint Premium, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI integrations.

Recommended Experience:
- Show greatexperience in SharePoint Online and M365 administration in a multi-GEO enterprise environment.
- Proven track record of implementing automation using PowerShell and Power Automate.
- Experience with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., Sharegate, Metalogix, Mover).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and REST API for SharePoint.
- Hands-on experience with governance and compliance in M365 environments.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 roadmap and change management processes.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
Recommended Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate (if available)
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified - Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (for cross-platform integration)
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- In depth knowledge of Amazon cloud hosting architecture with experience with AWS and Azure is a bonus
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities
- Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
