Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Learning Business Partner at Kyndryl Japan, you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to business leaders, aligning learning and development initiatives with organizational goals. You will assess capability gaps and design impactful learning strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.

You will lead stakeholder engagement across the Kyndryl Japan group, collaborating with senior executives-including the Country President, CFO, COO, and CHRO-to align annual/quarterly learning plans with business priorities. Your role will focus on enabling workforce transformation through upskilling and reskilling, with a strong emphasis on Go-to-Market roles and professional hires, particularly in sales and consulting functions.

You will also act as a liaison between business units and global learning teams, ensuring the successful deployment of learning solutions and the adoption of global best practices tailored to the Japanese market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to identify skill gaps and recommend learning strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the design, deployment, and evaluation of learning programs, including technical and non-technical skill development.
  • Facilitate executive-level discussions to gain alignment and approval for learning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global learning teams to localize and implement best practices for the Japanese workforce.
  • Monitor and analyze learning metrics to assess impact and inform continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Work Style
You will primarily be expected to work onsite at the Roppongi office.


Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in learning consulting, talent development, or organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in Japanese and proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement and Go-to-Market learning strategies.
  • Background in working within global matrixed organizations.
  • Experience in the IT industry
