The Role

As an Integration Consultant, you will be pivotal in ensuring that all systems, services, and platforms are seamlessly integrated within the New Data Center. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of creating the Target State Design and Solution Design for the NDC.
• Collaborating with the Senior Network Architect representing the connectivity team in the core team.
• Working with the Lead Domain Architect for Connectivity to develop or enhance Connectivity Services.
• Partnering with AAB Domain Architects to understand current state and target state objectives.
• Engaging with stakeholders, including Product owners, to ensure seamless service operations

Who You Are

We are looking for a self-starter who takes responsibility for their scope and excels in stakeholder management. You have a history of success in large-scale deployments delivered within short timelines and are adept at understanding complex dependencies to prevent escalations.

• Consulting & Problem-Solving: You possess strong consulting skills with an analytical mindset, capable of identifying and resolving complex system and application interoperability challenges.
• Agile & Collaborative: You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and can work effectively within an isolated team with condensed processes to accelerate deliverables. You will be working alongside a team of 10 Domain Architects.
• Industry Experience: You have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments, such as the financial sector, and understand the associated compliance and security demands.

Technical Expertise

Your technical knowledge is both broad and deep, with a strong focus on the integration points between applications, networks, and infrastructure.

• Application & Middleware Integration: You have a strong understanding of application dependency mapping to ensure successful migrations. You are knowledgeable about middleware platforms (e.g., message queues) and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• API & Service Integration: You are proficient with modern integration patterns, including REST APIs, and have experience integrating infrastructure with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms like ServiceNow.
• IP Planning and Routing: You are an expert in creating IP number plans for brownfield environments and designing IP routing for high-speed core backbones.
• Cloud and Connectivity: You have hands-on experience with Azure multi-region and segments design, Azure Express Route, and SD-WAN design.
• Data Center Automation and Virtualization: You are skilled in data center automation and designing solutions for Internet Gateways based on NSX-T.
• Security and Identity Integration: You can design security solutions that meet Network Security Framework requirements and have experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts for service integration. Your designs incorporate high availability and robust failover capabilities.
• Observability: You can create a comprehensive observability design for integrating and correlating flows from active network and system components.
