The Role

We are looking for an Expert Observability Engineer with deep knowledge in Dynatrace, IP-Label and ELK Stack to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end observability solutions across our hybrid cloud infrastructure. This role will be critical in providing real-time visibility, proactive monitoring, and actionable insights to engineering, operations, and business teams.

You will be a strategic leader, building scalable observability architecture, mentoring teams, and driving continuous improvement using best-in-class monitoring and logging platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Architect and manage observability platforms: Dynatrace (APM, RUM, Synthetic, Davis AI) and ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
  • Develop observability strategy covering metrics, logs, traces, events, and security telemetry
  • Lead the design of custom dashboards, alerting strategies, and anomaly detection using Dynatrace and Kibana
  • Integrate logs, metrics, and traces from cloud-native, on-prem, and containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, Azure)
  • Build and maintain log pipelines via Logstash/Filebeat to ELK; configure retention and indexing strategies
  • Automate observability provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, Monaco) and scripting
  • Align observability implementations with SLIs/SLOs, incident response, and post-mortem practices
  • Drive adoption of observability practices across teams through training and documentation
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure performance, availability, and compliance

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Observability Engineering
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Dynatrace: OneAgent, Davis AI, Grail/DQL, PurePath, RUM, problem detection
  • Strong experience managing an ELK Stack environment at scale, including Logstash pipeline design and Elasticsearch cluster tuning
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures
  • Plus : IP-Label
  • French Speaking

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced proficiency in Dynatrace, including OneAgent, Davis AI, Grail/DQL, PurePath, RUM, and problem detection capabilities.
  • Extensive experience managing ELK Stack environments at scale, with expertise in Logstash pipeline design and Elasticsearch cluster optimization.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures, with practical experience integrating observability across hybrid environments (cloud-native, on-prem, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Monaco for automating observability provisioning and configuration.
  • Proven ability to design and implement observability strategies, including custom dashboards, alerting, anomaly detection, and alignment with SLIs/SLOs and incident response practices.
  • French language proficiency and familiarity with IP-Label tools are considered strong assets.
