Your Role

Join our team at Kyndryl in the Liverpool AI Hub as an Early Career Talent Lead and play a pivotal role in supporting our employees, HR groups, and company management, making a real difference in their work lives.
In this centralised function, you'll be at the forefront of providing direct support and guidance to our early career employees. You'll be the go-to person for resolving their issues and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. As an Early Career Talent Lead, you will navigate through a diverse range of operations-related transactions. From new-hire, onboarding, project assignment and rotations, to performance tracking and evaluations, benefits, community building, and even employee departures, you'll handle it all with finesse, making each interaction a positive experience.
As a trailblazer in your own right, you'll take ownership of the Apprenticeship and Graduate Programs and provide resolutions, ensuring each junior employee's query is addressed with utmost care and attention. Additionally, you'll serve as a mentor to junior employees, providing career insights and coaching to shape the next generation of Kyndryl Leaders. You will manage university relations, and existing and future apprenticeship suppliers and the associated levy funding, as well as legal policies. You will shape and design the Early Career Talent community and engagement.
You'll be a champion of knowledge management and to be at the forefront of driving the latest Early Career Programmes' processes and acting as a focal point for all knowledge in your area of expertise. Your dedication to keeping our knowledge base up-to-date will be invaluable to our team's success.

Additional roles & responsibilities:
- Champion the Early Career Programs internally to increase demand and early professionals' billability
- Negotiate and procure ongoing contracts with the right Universities, for careers fairs, events, for the business to attend
- Shape ongoing early career programs as per business strategy planning
- Maintain and update retention metrics on hire numbers for apprentices and graduates
- Influencing - continue to engage and strengthen relationships with apprenticeship suppliers/ universities across the country
- Build and continually improve relationships with target organisations, to enable early professionals' attraction and work with HR on conversion and retention once hired
- Lead the collaboration across Business Leadership teams to grow the approach across workforce and organisational planning, while proactively addressing gaps left by attrition
- With Business and TA, brainstorm and implement creative strategies and solutions to attract talent in an ultra-competitive talent segment across the Country
- Work with Business and TA for primary strategic direction on skills gaps, growth plans and Marketing for creation and enhanced assets for each event platform
- Ensure that information on the Apprenticeship Service Account is accurate and kept up to date, including the review and approval of information entered by the Training Provider on the Employer's behalf, and ensure compliance with the levy funding rules
- Ensure there is cooperation with the Apprenticeship Training Provider: Assist and cooperate with the Training Provider and/or End-Point Assessment Organisation to enable them to deliver the Training in compliance with the Funding Rules and the contract for services entered into between the Employer and the Training Provider

Required Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a Programme Management, HR or Operations function
- People management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills, sensitive to data and detail-oriented
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business/ Human Resources
