The Role

The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) and the Transformation Leadership Team, driving operational excellence and enabling decision-making across the organization. This role requires exceptional leadership, project management, and problem-solving capabilities to manage cross-functional initiatives and ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CTO and Transformation Leadership Team.
  • Lead and execute special strategic initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Support strategic planning and executive decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of projects and initiatives on behalf of the CTO.
  • Serve as liaison between the CTO and internal/external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely communication.
  • Develop and maintain operational systems and processes to optimize executive workflows.
  • Represent the CTO in meetings, communications, and engagements as needed.
  • Track and follow up on action items from leadership meetings.
  • Partner with executive support teams to manage calendars and prioritize scheduling.
  • Maintain confidential records and ensure data integrity.
  • Manage business outcomes across multiple related projects or programs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as the escalation point and decision-maker for program-level challenges.

Who You Are

Degree preferred in a relevant field.

5+ years of experience in customer facing/engagement role(s).

Experience in managing and presenting at a senior executive level.

Ability to take diverse data points and build a comprehensive message to tell a story.

Strong track record of performance and recognized as a high-potential leader.

Proven experience leading and working with diverse, cross-functional teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to build impactful deck.

Proven experience with multi-tasking and organization skills.

Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Strong knowledge of business intelligence, data analysis, dashboards, and operational reporting.

Limited travel.

Preferred Experience & Expertise

Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects or programs, preferably in a services business.

Skilled in identifying and tracking interdependent tasks across projects, mitigating risks, and optimizing staffing strategies.

Proficient in establishing program governance frameworks, managing interdependencies, and making trade-off decisions based on cost-benefit analysis.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment and remain focused on outcomes amid shifting priorities.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $120,360 to $228,840 based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $132,480 to $274,560
Colorado: $120,360 to $228,840
New York City: $144,480 to $274,560
Washington: $132,480 to $251,640
Washington DC: $132,480 to $251,640

"This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
