The Role
Are you passionate about Human Resources security and looking for an exciting role where you can make a difference? If so, we have an opportunity for you! As a Security Specialist at Kyndryl, you will play a crucial role in enabling and securing our HR systems and tools.
As part of the role, the individual will support the development and implementation of a comprehensive security strategy for HR data usage across all systems. Regular risk assessments will be conducted to identify vulnerabilities, with mitigation strategies developed accordingly. The role includes enforcing data protection measures such as encryption and access controls and conducting risk assessments for both HR and non-HR systems. Implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions will be essential to monitor and control access to HR data. Continuous monitoring mechanisms will be established to detect threats and adapt to evolving policies. The individual will also assist in designing and deploying automated systems for managing security access, ensuring efficient and secure control. Additionally, they will assess downstream systems containing employee and HR data to ensure compliance with security standards and seamless integration with HR systems. Collaboration with HR, IT, and other departments will be key to embedding security into all HR operations, and regular reports on system security activities, incidents, and improvements will be prepared for senior management.

Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
• Experience in data security and privacy management, preferably in HR systems, or HR system security management
• Excellent understanding of security standards and best practices
• Experience with role and access definition in enterprise systems
• Proficiency in security technologies, strategy & policies, and automated security access tools
• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks
• Ability to work collaboratively with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure integrated security measures
• Familiarity with data protection regulations, such as the GDPR
• Experience with security audits and access governance
• Advanced English
Preferred Skills and Experience
• Experience with security in HR systems such as Workday, SAP, or ADP
• Participation in security process automation projects (e.g., access request and approval workflows)
• Experience working in global environments
• Previous knowledge of HR processes
• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools
