Your responsibilities as below :

• Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure APIs using Kong, Apigee, and Mulesoft.
• Manage the full API lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Develop and implement API policies, security protocols, and traffic management rules (rate limiting, throttling, caching, etc.).
• Create and maintain API documentation, leveraging Postman and other tools for testing and mocking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend developers, frontend developers, architects, and DevOps) to ensure seamless integration of APIs.
• Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in API management, security standards (OAuth, JWT), and integration patterns.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of API governance, standards, and best practices.

We are looking for a skilled API Developer with 8+ years of Experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API management platforms, integration solutions, and API lifecycle management, with hands-on experience in Kong, Apigee, Mulesoft, and API testing tools like Postman.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Proficiency in Kong API Gateway (plugins, custom policies, routing, security)
• Experience with Google Apigee (API Proxies, Policies, Developer Portals)
• Hands-on knowledge of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform (API Design, RAML, DataWeave, Connectors)
• RESTful API design and development
• API testing using Postman (collections, scripts, environment management)
• Knowledge of API documentation standards (Swagger/OpenAPI)
• API authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT)
• Rate limiting, throttling, caching
• Monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for API deployment
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience in GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
