TALENT SPECIALIST - Supply Chain and Manufacturing
JOB DESCRIPTION
The talent specialist will be responsible for driving the recruiting process for Kroger's internship, co-op and entry-level programs by creating and managing pipelines of early career candidates. They will recruit, screen, and identify top-tier candidates for these programs, then guide them through their program journey from onboarding through offboarding. RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate and manage identification of candidates for internship, co-op, and entry-level programs
Differentiate Kroger as an employer of choice and attract quality intern candidates through website content, job board content, candidate communications, diversity initiatives, onsite or campus events, and other creative means
Assist the Manager of Performance, Career, and Talent Planning with bringing the internship experience to life for each rotation
Partner with Regional Talent Generalists to strategically build and strengthen relationships with colleges and universities through their placement offices, faculty, administration, and student bodies
Build relationships with all interns; ensure job satisfaction and perpetuate a desire for interns to matriculate to full time associates at Kroger
Partner with HR managers/generalists, Talent Generalists, and business partners to identify desired program headcount by line of business
Build and manage requisitions for identified program headcount needs
Work with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for campus recruiting, set calendar of events, timelines, activities as well as delegate responsibilities to ensure proper participation
Partner with Marketing & Branding to develop innovative marketing and advertising strategies and collateral to grow brand affinity and maximize all relevant channels of event marketing and communications internally and externally
Travel approximately 30% to universities and colleges to source candidates and support recruiting initiatives at networking, recruiting and other functions

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
3+ years of relevant work experience, with a preference for campus recruiting experience or internship program management in a professional services environment
Ability to work collaboratively with various level of associates and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Intermediate applicant tracking system/application skills
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
Must be a problem solver with strong project management skills and the ability to stay organized and very detailed
Professional, confident, and enthusiastic demeanor
Good presentation, communication (oral and written) and leadership skills
Ability to prioritize workloads as well as coordinate and maintain follow-up on multiple projects simultaneously in high volume, fast-paced environment
Interest in driving diversity and inclusion efforts in alignment with internship strategy
Desired
- Bachelor's Degree human resources, business, communications, marketing, or equivalent field
