JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide support to the fulfillment center's transportation department. Coordinate and dispatch delivery drivers. Ensure that the dispatch is done timely and efficiently as demonstrated by the time of the dispatch to the gate time of drivers. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adapt to any technological programs and requirements pertaining to the job
  • Understand the processing and execution of orders, setting up equipment and assigning routes to drivers
  • Ensure we minimize the time it takes to dispatch to driver gate time.
  • Eliminate inefficiencies in the dispatch process.
  • Trace, track, and locate orders and delivery routes
  • Initiate schedules and correspondences with drivers, operations, and customers
  • Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate with all levels of the business, always displaying trust and competency
  • Ensure confidentiality of personal data
  • Ensure completeness of check in and note any irregularities in returned orders
  • Route incoming problem calls to proper resource
  • Willingness to learn and advance as the job may expand
  • Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
  • Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
  • Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate information to all contacts
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations
  • Skill and diplomacy dealing with people
  • PC skills with a minimum working knowledge of Microsoft Office
DESIRED
  • Customer service experience
  • Previous distribution or production experience
  • Previous administration support experience
