JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversee enterprise level inventory management functions within the digital space. These functions include, but are not limited to, re-buying assortment, timely replenishment to the fulfillment centers to maximize customer satisfaction and company profits and achieve in stock goals on every day and promotional SKUs. As part of the organization, the buyer is responsible for achieving or surpassing planned category performance and productivity standards such as sales, inventory, and turn. This is accomplished by managing and replenishing assortments, successfully launching new initiatives and maintaining positive vendor relationships. Track, monitor, expedite, and maintain purchase orders. Research fill rates, lost sales, and back orders. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, manage, and track Purchase Orders and inventory levels for all Enterprise Digital Fulfillment Centers
- Communicate between consumer package goods (CPG), inventory planners, and assortment managers regarding all purchase order statuses (confirmation, shipping, and late issues)
- Resolve all warehouse receiving issues over / short items
- Collaborate with CPG's regarding over items to understand inventory implications if accept overage; negotiate potential cost savings to keep additional inventory
- Collaborate with vendors regarding short items to understand out of stock issues and timing; work with Sourcing team on other vendor options
- Run weekly volatility reports to understand variance in prior forecast and analyze future forecast demand and adjust system to purchase to the current needs
- Coordinate return to vendor (RTV) / recall process between CPG's, fulfillment centers, AP, and Legal
- Respond to all AP / vendor issues regarding credit issues and PO payments causing shipping delays
- Review daily Service Level reports for subpar vendor performance and understand potential opportunities surrounding vendor; communicate findings with Inventory Planners and Assortment Managers
- Collaborate with Inventory Planners to determine upcoming promotional forecast and demand lift based on prior historical performance
- Travel to local campuses, such as the Landings, and to attend company meetings

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Other Bachelors degree or 2+ years retail store managerial experience or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
- Excellent oral/written communication skills and extreme attention-to-detail
- Ability to identify metrics/key performance measures and use data to drive decisions that enhance the customer experience
- Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
