JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist in development, implementation, and improvement of analytical tools, protocols and processes for Kroger Prescription Plans (KPP) to support network contract compliance and optimization for its clients. Facilitate an association of pharmacy analytics with clinical outcomes and cost saving strategies. In conjunction with account management and clinical teams, analyze financial data to provide insight to drive business growth and reduce spend. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in the completion of financial sections of (RFPs), market checks, and renewals to define the scope of PBM client support and forecast accurate cost assumptions into pricing offers.
- Underwriting Request for Proposals (RFPs) requirements such as fees, credits, and performance guarantees
- Provide analytical expertise in the design and function of the prospective client business
- Assist in all aspects of proposal development, including underwriting process and infrastructure
- Perform calculations and analysis to ensure KPP is meeting their pricing and performance guarantees as well as clinical trends and opportunities for improvement
- Create library of standard reports, maintain organized files and drafts in operationally designated locations while coordinating and presenting customer utilization analysis reports internally

- Provide detailed analyses identifying risk and opportunity as well as consultative analyses to internal and external clients
- Provide clinical program development assistance and insight
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard reporting procedures while supporting and driving continuous process improvement as well as managing reports that maximize patient outcomes utilizing predictive modeling
- Support contracting team in creation, optimization, and compliance of contracts, for both new and existing clients
- Assist in estimating rebates for prospective clients, and reconciliation of rebate payments and minimum guarantees
- Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree Finance or similar field of study or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 1 year of experience with any combinations of Informatics education and/or analytical
- Ability to communicate clearly and directly, approachable, relates well to others, engages people and helps them understand change, provides and seeks feedback, articulates clearly, actively listens
- Demonstrated ability to work productively and proactively in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Ability to use available data warehouses to extract meaningful metrics and activity for analysis while meeting deadlines, including working extended hours when necessary

Desired
- Any of experience in pharmacy benefit manager or managed healthcare services organizations, and/or other health related entities
- Any of experience as data/business/process analyst
- Certified Pricing Professional or other relevant healthcare pricing certification
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Bi, Sequel, Python and/or other related software and comfortable with writing formulas
