Item Setup Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist the direct supervisor with the delegation and coordination of daily tasks and objectives to team members. Provide training and support for internal and cross functional teams on primary areas of responsibility, providing technical expertise as well as acting as liaison between direct supervisor and associates and cross functional and external teams. Provide analytical data pertinent to current projects and daily operations, own resolution of opportunities, and provide guidance on process improvements. Act as subject matter expert to provide training for job specific applications and related processes, inclusive of Merchandising, Procurement, cross functional teams and outside vendors. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop project plans & manage projects & delegation of resources
- Coordinate with Kroger Technology to align with the latest advancements to promote automation, execute, log and report break/fix changes, service requests & perform user acceptance testing (UAT)

- Partner with internal, external & cross functional teams to evaluate requirements & determine best solutions, including utilizing internal best practices & competitor/industry practices within subject area
- Coach and train associates in the technical requirements to perform their duties accurately & efficiently
- Provide support for Corporate Merchandising & Enterprise Data Integrity teams with specific projects or initiatives
- Ensure Merchandising system configuration, updates & maintenance to support business objectives
- Own systems troubleshooting & user support; may include testing and approving fixes/enhancement via UAT
- Ensure system/data integrity (may require working off hours/holidays)
- Participate in program change meetings; provide expertise & guidance concerning applicable processes & applications
- Assist in developing training materials
- Document & create new processes & changes for data integrity associates, cross functional & external partners
- Discover & document the root cause of issues, identify solutions to prevent & solve for underlying issues, & implement improvements to prevent future recurrence
- Communicate root causes to leadership & technology to translate business requirements into system requirements
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- 2+ years data integrity experience or equivalent
- Ability to organize and logically structure complex processes
- Ability to work off hours/holidays on occasion
- Ability to prioritize and assign work according to business priorities and
- Strong communication and motivational skills; Highly motivated and self-started
- Ability to be detail oriented with accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (especially Microsoft Excel)
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to make quick and independent decisions
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Ability to understand organizational impacts that result from changes in business processes and technologies
- Extensive knowledge of systems applicable to current position (may vary by department)
Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- Any supervisory experience
- 3+ years corporate or division data Integrity experience
- Any experience in merchandising, operations or procurement
- Working knowledge of store practices
