FRONT END/FLOOR SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Model exceptional customer service and engagement behaviors.
    • Greet and engage 90% of all customers through greeting, smiling, making eye-contact and thanking them.
    • Spend at least 90% of time on customer approach side of the check lanes
    • Be an approachable, visible source of assistance to both customers and associates.
    • Maintain self-checkout and total front end queuing standards.
    • Coach cashiers, courtesy clerks and self-checkout attendants on engagement, check-out procedures and best practices.
    • Ensure till audits are being performed.
    • Supervise basket retrieval process.
    • Maintain break schedules for front end associates.
    • Make sure carry-outs are offered to customers.
    • Supervise cleanliness and safety conditions for front end and restrooms.
    • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports
    • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
