FLORAL ALLOCATIONS & INVENTORY MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for outdoor/indoor floral product allocations based on category strategy and key performance indicators (KPIs). Monitor and recommend action on allocated product from beginning to end to ensure good sell through. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with category manager to understand strategy and all KPIs (e.g., sales, gross, market share, household engagement)
- Maintain accurate store metrics on size, space, segmentation and other relevant factors
- Allocate product in advance of the selling time frame based on store sales, space and segmentation (9-18 months in advance), work with supplier data engineer to create program
- Allocate product for fresh deals in real time based on store sales, space, segmentation and current inventory levels
- Create division and item specific classifieds based on allocations and projected orders for non-allocated items
- Maintain classified weekly to reflect updates
- Create store-friendly files for division/store use
- Monitor sales and shipments (in season), recommend actions if needed for good sell through, state the financial impact of recommendations and communicate actions to promo planning and divisions/stores
- Work collaboratively with Allocation Center of Excellence to align Floral allocation approach and communication
- Travel 25% to divisions

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
- 2+ years merchandising/retail experience
- Analytical skills, process oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple groups and stake holders
- Ability to create new processes
- Ability to gather relevant information from multiple sources to form recommendations for decision makers
