CORP MARKETING/SR LEAD MEDIA PARTNERSHIP MGR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead the media partnerships team in maximizing strategic media/technology partnerships, content providers, and sports/sponsorships to elevate Kroger's brand in the communities we serve. Accountable for partnership and sponsorship strategy frameworks and roadmaps. Lead development of joint business plans and annual spend commitments in coordination with Integrated Media Strategy team. Drive innovation and oversight in the development of custom media content programs. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee Kroger media/content/sports/sponsorships and partnerships investments to ensure positive ROAS and alignment with company values
- Develop Kroger paid media content strategy, translating into content programming and maximizing return of content, while standardizing implementation of content activation for the enterprise and divisions
- Oversee annual agreements and joint business plans, partnering with 84.51 and other key stakeholders to leverage combined media spend to maximize ROAS
- Develop and implement sports and sponsorships strategy, operationalizing a standard framework across the enterprise and divisions, while measuring the overall effectiveness of the spend

- Advance technology partnerships with 1P data integrations partnering with privacy teams, data governance, corporate security, to ensure 1P data media activation are fully compliant with data and consumer privacy regulations and company guidelines
- Maintain a deep understanding of strategic media partners' vision, product updates, 1P data/personalization capabilities, business performance, and alignment with media investment guiding principles
- Develop and Implement Kroger Media DE&I framework that authentically reflects the lived experiences and cultural values of diverse audiences
- Lead annual partnership review, and oversee partner performance, quarterly evaluations
- Lead ongoing review of the media investment guiding principles, updating based on the media landscape, gaining support from executive stakeholders
- Work closely with and gain approval from legal, data, governance, security, and other internal stakeholders
- Ensure team projects are on track, remove roadblocks and gain organizational support
- Inform stakeholders of industry trends and innovations
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree
- Any experience negotiating large-scale, complex media partnerships
- 4+ years management experience
- 10+ years of experience with media/tech partnerships, sports sponsorships, and/or content
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Innovative, detail oriented, strong analytical and decision-making skills, results oriented, comfort with change and complexity, and rapid learner
- Exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills with ability to influence
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and peers
Desired
- Master's Degree
- Any experience gaining support for legal, data, privacy and security approvals
- Comfortable with media/ad technology
