KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex enterprise environments from an information security perspective across the U.S. Federal government space
  • Interface with high-level client executives and hands-on technology practitioners to bring meaningful, strategic change in the sphere of information protection, data security and privacy, and business continuity
  • Design and support development of plans, policies and procedures for clients, drawing from regulations and guidance such as FISMA and the supporting NIST Special Publication series
  • Support the integration of cyber security into systems development efforts through a DevSecOps approach
  • Assist with the architecture, configuration, deployment and service design of network and system security monitoring and analysis tools, Identity and Access Management platforms, IT-GRC platforms
  • Provide POA&M management support and collaborate with team members to help develop remediation strategies
  • Generate artifacts and conduct self-assessments of security and privacy controls in accordance with NIST 800-53, revision 5
  • Develop metrics, reports, and dashboards to support Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM)
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of experience in information security or in a technology-related field, U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an IT field
  • Experience with ServiceNow implementation work, specifically around security architecture and compliance preferred
  • Functional certification such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CIPP, GIAC, GSEC, and/or GCFW certifications preferred
  • Knowledge and experience developing and maintaining authorization packages via eMASS in accordance with the NIST Risk Management Framework
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish rapport with colleagues and clients
  • Proficient translation and listening skills for development of executive level briefing, including presentation design and development
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage several projects at once
  • Ability to travel to support firm engagements as required
  • U.S. Citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance
