KPMG is currently seeking an Intern for Finance & Accounting - Partner Taxes.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare net income, gross income and personal property tax filings
  • Support state and local tax audits
  • Prepare state and local tax sales, property and payroll apportionment data
  • Obtain and review state and local tax forms and ordinances from various jurisdictions
  • Update tax forms to incorporate current year legislative changes
  • Handle administrative work associated with state k-1 testing
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree and have obtained by the start date, or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
  • Former KPMG intern or deferred KPMG associate hire is preferred
  • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, research, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) with the ability to learn new analytical tools preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
