Design and develop multiple diversified applications using big data platform, leveraging hybrid clouds. Work with critical data stake holders and technical teams for optimal solutions and service delivery. Provide strategic, tactical direction in the delivery of big data solutions. Transform architectural and business concepts and requirements into robust technology designs and engineering configurations to deliver sustainable solutions for data management and analytics areas. Ensure the design, code and procedural aspects of solution are production ready, in terms of operational, security and compliance standards. Work with critical data stake holders and technical teams for optimal solutions and service delivery. Partner with various cross functional teams such as infrastructure, data and enterprise architects to build scalable, optimal, self-service analytics solutions, both on premise and in the cloud. Utilize innovation, problem solving and best practices to create and execute road maps that improve efficiencies, agility, performance, stability and lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Apply technical proficiency to configure and tune technical environments. Continually optimize the data pipe with automation and tools with the latest DevOps and Agile methodologies to improve cycle times, consistency and quality. Participate in day to day project and production delivery status meetings and provide technical support for faster resolution of issues.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, or a related field and 7 years of experience, of which at least 5 are post-bachelor's, progressive, related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Utilizing Solution Architecture, end to end technical delivery, running data transformation programs, data modeling and design using database architecture of modern data platforms including Informatica, Oracle, Big Data, and Azure data and analytics cloud platforms; Azure Data lake, Event Hub, building data integrations using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure functions, and Azure SQL Server; Data migration to Azure cloud experience and designing and building hybrid clouds with a combination of on prem ETL tools/Azure cloud technologies; Data warehousing, Data modeling tools experience with tools such as Power Designer, experience with reporting tools such Power BI and Tableau; and Designing and configuration of matching and merging rules and cleansing and deduplication rules.

Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the job location, depending on business need.
