KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Asset Management to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Support management in the execution of strategy for technology focused contract negotiations including, but not limited to acquisitions, maintenance renewals, strategic cost optimization and terms / conditions improvements / standardizations
  • Make recommendations for Op Ex savings based on prior experience in a similar environment
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term strategic initiatives as well as immediate growth priorities and meeting annual cost reduction targets
  • Lead special projects supporting Executive Leadership's requirements to obtain line of sight into future opportunities leading to cost savings
  • Ensure alignment with the technology investment portfolio and the enterprise architecture organization to support the technology strategy of the firm by shepherding use of technology to strategic partners/vendors
  • Team and liaise with finance and strategic sourcing to ensure all contract activities align with standard controls, and ensure ongoing engagement throughout a program's lifecycle for appropriate levels of contract and budgetary oversight; seek continuous improvement and increase of scope of sourcing and contracting efforts for the firm
Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience with IT vendor/supplier relationship management, technology hardware and software asset procurement, data analytics, opportunity assessment and negotiations
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • Comprehensive command of business-based strategic negotiation methodology and hardware / software pricing models
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization
  • Must be able to execute strategic initiatives for team; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions; capability to develop strategic organization and global/regional resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs
