Overview

The Senior Solutions Architect is responsible for soliciting, interpreting and socializing business requirements of our high-profile Clients, in the context of technological solutions to support their business needs and objectives - ensuring the growth of the project revenue stream. The SSA helps lead a team of Solutions Architects - coaching, mentoring, and guiding them in the delivery of relevant and robust technology solutions for our Client Portfolio

 Possesses a solid understanding of Industry trends and general IT architecture
fundamentals.
 Uses industry knowledge alongside a strong familiarity with IT Weapons Products and
Services to identify opportunities for our current Client base as well as for prospective

Clients, playing a prominent role in building IT Weapons project queue.
 Leads Client interactions, leveraging technical experts (Practice Directors, Enterprise
Architects and Consultants) to build and maintain Strategic Client Technology Roadmaps.
 Meets with the clients directly to understand and document technology and business
requirements.
 Participates in the assessment and development of Statements of Work and Proposals.
 Participates in the RFP process as required to build and socialize high level technology
solutions to Client business problems.
 Leads the Statement of Work Peer Review process to ensure solutions are relevant and of
the highest accuracy possible.
 Leverages Infrastructure Assessments to ensure Client Technology Roadmaps remain
accurate and relevant (Technology Business Plans).
 Works directly with technology experts within IT Weapons and vendor partners to validate
the proposed solutions.
 Works with the Sales team to deliver proposals and recommendations to high profile clients
in written and presentation format.
 Possesses excellent communications skills, leading and facilitating architectural design
sessions with IT Weapons Clients.
 Contributes to mentorship and coaching of Solutions Architects.
 Facilitates reporting on team performance and maintains the Pre-Sales board.
 Suggests innovative ideas to increase Sales and improve Client experience (e.g.
accountable for delivery and maintenance of Calculators and Playbooks).
 Identifies areas for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
 Contributes to recruiting and onboarding of new SA Team members.
 Contributes to development and maintenance of Team Governance.
 Leads review/qualification of new opportunities as presented in our internal Opportunity
submission platform (Forge).
 Accountable for Solutions throughout entire project lifecycle, participating in the project
change control process, as required.

Qualifications

 8+ years of experience in a Client facing Pre-Sales role providing technical assessments
and architecting solutions.
or
 10+ years of practical experience in delivering Client Solutions in a Senior capacity.
 College Diploma or equivalent
 Experience selling IT services.
 Cloud solutions and/or managed services provider experience will be highly valued.
 Product knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, Citrix, Cloud Technologies, and VMware.
 Ongoing commitment to professional development and industry certifications.
 Occasional evenings and weekend work as required.
 Travel to client/vendor sites and meetings (0-25%)
 Ability to work with a variety of challenging clients and communicating with all levels of
leadership (including C-level executives)
