Overview
Great Opportunity for a Global Project Manager
Provide senior project management leadership to Konica Minolta external customer and internal programs and projects.
The selected individual will be expected to manage a variety of complex and high-profile programs and projects in large global enterprise environments. The Global Project Manager applies professional PMI principles, practices, and techniques to lead external and internal customer project teams.
Project engagement requirements will include:
- Assistance in customer pre-sale activities, creation and management of project plans and schedules, project track of milestones and deliverables and continuously monitor risks to ensure success.
Responsibilities
- Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives
- Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure availability of financial, material and human resources required to complete a project successfully
- Evaluate the progress of a project to detect limitations or faults to seek solutions to a more efficient process
- Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various stakeholders, departments of an organization
- Use specialized tools and techniques to delegate and ensure even distribution of tasks to project team members
- Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal network
- Motivate team members to meet project goals by effectively carrying out their responsibilities
- Offer solutions effective in meeting set targets and satisfying client requirements
- Manage every aspect of a project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment, and resources.

Qualifications
Education & Training:
o Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or related discipline
o Project Management Certification (PMI PMP/ Prince2 Practitioner PMP and/or Agile and/or Six Sigma certification)
Leadership Skill: Able to direct the operations of a project unit to ensure set goals are achieved
Problem-solving skills: Apply project management principles and methodologies in seeking solutions to project problems
- 5+ years of experience in people and resource management are essential to the position
- 5+ years of experience in solutions integration, global operations, software development, document management, managed print services, IT operations, or business process management.
- Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines and cultures; competence in clear concise, and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers, and team members.
- Prior experience managing multi-country programs/projects is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding project goals and objectives.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong writing, mentoring, decision making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills
- Ability to train and mentor junior project managers and operational management teams in project and process management methodologies.
- Knowledge of and competency in project management processes including planning, resource allocation, risk management, time management, financial management, HR management, quality management, monitoring, and reporting, documenting, and record keeping.
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
