Director, Talent Acquisition (North America)

The Director Talent Acquisition will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of all talent acquisition initiatives across North America. This leader will be responsible for building and evolving a future-ready workforce by aligning internal mobility and external hiring strategies with the organization's transformation in skills, technologies, and business priorities. With a focus on innovation, inclusion, and workforce sustainability, this leader will oversee executive, experienced, entry-level, university, military, and disability recruiting & on-boarding programs, ensuring seamless integration into the business.
This role is partnered with other HR leadership team members in addressing the challenges of the business, driving proactive succession planning, and cultivating a talent ecosystem that supports growth, agility, and digital evolution.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business transformation, workforce demographics, and evolving technology needs.
- Partner with executive leadership to forecast talent needs and build pipelines for critical roles, including emerging skill areas.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with talent management, HRBPs and business leaders to ensure proactive talent readiness.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment across all levels: executive, professional, entry-level, university, military, and disability hiring.
- Implement scalable, data-driven recruitment processes and technologies to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in talent metrics (i.e. internal mobility) of top talent) and operational metrics (i.e. quality-of-hire).
- Develop and manage the budget for the function and all hiring organizationally, including ROI business cases.
- Brand & Outreach
- Strengthen the employer brand across North America through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and thought leadership.
- Build strategic relationships with universities, veteran organizations, disability networks, and industry associations to expand talent reach.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed TA team across the U.S. and Canada.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusion within the TA function.
- Integration & Onboarding
- Partner with Learning & Development and HR Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new hires into the business.
- Support internal mobility and career-pathing initiatives to retain and grow top talent.
- Technology & Analytics
- Leverage advanced TA technologies, AI tools, and analytics to optimize sourcing, selection, and workforce insights.
- Monitor labor market trends and competitor intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership role.
- Proven success leading TA strategy in a technology-oriented organization; experience with a large field-based organization a plus.
- Deep understanding of workforce planning, succession strategy, and skills transformation.
- Experience navigating aging workforce dynamics and implementing future-ready talent solutions.
- Expertise in compliance, and inclusive outreach strategies.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align talent strategies with organizational goals.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
