Overview
Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an Area Vice President, Industrial & Production Print in our Central region! This position will manage a team of direct and indirect sales professionals within their assigned territory and provide expertise in a variety of areas including design process input, application, file testing, materials preparation, and proof of concept. They will assist in the deployment of executive technology webinars at the beginning of the sales process. The ideal candidate will use their excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, management, and organizational skills to provide strong business acumen in managing to bottom-line profitability.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of experts in Label & Packaging, Industrial Print, In Plants, & Digital Embellishment.
- Coach and mentor new sales professionals to understand, embrace and be successful with our sales process and success tips, while ensuring that the Directors meet quarterly sales goals.
- Identify and manage prospects, pipelines, travel, and go-to-market strategies to achieve quarterly goals and strategic plans.
- Collaborate with our Direct Sales channel to build pipelines and provide subject matter expertise on our Industrial Print equipment and solutions.
- Assist in identifying best practices for the Industrial and Production Print channel and continually refine the IP sales process.
- Assist Directors, Industrial Print Business Development in the identification of Digital Embellishment opportunities and collaboration with Digital Embellishment Sales Specialists.
Qualifications
- 10 years of solid experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with a strong track record selling industrial & production print products and managing people.
- Ability to identify, recruit, hire, manage and motivate top talent from the industry, including performance tracking and forecasting.
- Expertise in Industrial, Production, or Commercial Print preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to identify, recruit, hire, manage and motivate top talent from the industry.
- Ability to travel approximately 3.5 days per week.
