About the Role
As Territory Facilities Manager, you will improve facility efficiency through the consistent understanding and execution of best practices. You will lead and manage the field facilities team to ensure the cost-effective maintenance and repair of Kohl's property meets Kohl's quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Hire, onboard, lead and manage Field Facilities Specialists to ensure all maintenance work is completed and meets all safety and quality standards
- Ensure the maintenance of Kohl's property and stores within budgetary guidelines and resources
- Ensure the consistent execution of all store facilities best practices to ensure proper care of our associates, customers and assets
- Conduct routine visits of all stores and property and follow up on deficiencies
- Evaluate performance and communicate with a network of R&M Vendors
- Conduct quarterly on-site reviews with 3rd party vendors
- Work with Landlords and enforce lease agreement compliance
- Follow up with any incomplete or unsatisfactory work vendors complete, ensuring contract compliance and that Kohl's standards are met
- Partner with supervisors when vendors are out of compliance
- Coordinate disaster recovery preparations in partnership with Corporate Facilities
- Identify opportunities to contain or reduce costs
- Provide consistent, clear communication to Store leadership teams, including exception and outlier-based reporting
- Share facilities vendor performance concerns with corporate vendor partnership owners to ensure they can drive vendor compliance and accountability
- Additional tasks may be assigned
What Skills You Have
Required
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build teams and partnerships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
- Ability to multitask while adapting to fluctuating priorities
Preferred
- Capable of leading an hourly team from afar and working with all levels of Management
- Self-directed, motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Retail or a related field
- Experience in multi-property management or operations management
