About the Role
As a Human Resources Specialist-Logistics, you will be part of a team that builds strong and trusting relationships with associates and business partners while fostering a culture of care and appreciation. You will help support associates and business partners regarding HR processes, new hire onboarding activities and compliance programs.
What You'll Do
- Be a support partner for associates by working to provide answers and establishing connections to appropriate business partners and resources
- Provide feedback on HR programs, policies and processes to HR partners
- Champion new associate onboarding and recruiting activities
- Administer HR processes for associates and executives
- Execute compliance programs with attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
- Facilitate classroom orientation and training sessions
- Give recommendations and insights based on analysis to HR leadership
- Support implementation and adoption of HR-related initiatives across the organization
- Conduct exit interviews as needed
- Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have
Required
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources or administrative or customer service-oriented roles
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred
- Prior experience working as part of a team
- PHR or SPHR
