About the Role

As Costing Analytics Analyst, you will identify and communicate analytics related to optimizing private brand cost of goods.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct analysis, determine insights and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Examine large data sets to identify trends, develop charts and create visual presentations to help businesses make more strategic decisions
  • Leverage a suite of analytics tools to analyze spend and pricing data and identify spend optimization and cost reduction opportunities
  • Support the Senior Costing Analytics Analyst in identifying key insights from analyses, cutting through large amounts of data to quickly identify trends and implications on the sourcing strategy approach
  • Provide analysis to inform insights, reporting on findings and using analyses to help the sourcing team prepare for critical vendor negotiations and overall company decision-making initiatives
  • Support Sourcing Optimizing tool RFQ events
  • Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Undergraduate degree in Science, Finance or other quantitative field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate analysis into insights

Preferred

  • 2+ years of analytics and insights experience, particularly:
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools (ex: Tableau)
  • Experience using SQL to query data in a data warehouse (ex: Teradata, BigQuery)
  • Experience with purchasing or supply chain management in the apparel / home goods industry and/or retail knowledge
  • Experience presenting complex data analyses
  • Experience w/RFI, RFP including Sourcing Optimization tool experience
  • Modeling experience
  • R/Python programming skills
