Tank Fitter Packer 

Location: Onsite -Brownwood, Texas

  

Competitive Compensation: Starting at $20.40 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.  

Shift Needed: 6am - 4:30 pm on a Tuesday - Friday schedule.

We are looking to fill a Tank Fitter Packer position within our Vitreous division. This position will be based at our Brownwood, TX location, where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality bathroom products, including luxury bathtubs and toilets. 

 

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 

  • Assembles float and flush valves to tank. 

  • Constructs carton for packing. 

  • Packs and marks carton for shipment. 

  • Palletizes ware properly. 

  • Removes defective units as instructed. 

  • Reseals cartons as required. 

  • Practice and follow all required safety regulations. 

  • Perform all duties as assigned by supervision.

Ready to make a bold impact? Here’s the qualifications we are looking for: 

Key Qualifications 

  • Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship. 

  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes. 

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Must also have good attention to detail and able to detect out of tolerance condition. 

  • must be able to work in a team environment. 

  • Lift up to 50 pounds as required for assembly of units and components. 

  • Three (3) years of warehouse experience and two (2) years of fork truck experience required. 

  • Must have the ability to work safely in repetitive manufacturing conditions.

  • Must have working knowledge of valve assemblies, tanks and packing procedures. 

  • Must be able to distinguish between shades of color.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position. 

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures. 

  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and work performance.

  • Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
