Supply and Demand Planner

Location: Hybrid - Kohler, Wisconsin
Opportunity
Ensuring the right product is available at the right time to ensure that the best customer service level is achieved cost effectively.
The Senior production scheduling specialist is responsible for cost effectively meeting customer requirements while planning/scheduling to maximize manufacturing productivity and achieving optimum stock levels.
The Senior Production Scheduling Specialist is responsible for assimilating the output from Supply Planning process to ultimately generate an Optimized Rolling Forward Schedule within a Plant that makes best use of all key resources; people, material and machines which has buy-in from the key stakeholder functions i.e. Demand Control, Operations; Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
Build strong relationships within the North America business particularly across, Internal Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Schedulers, Supply Network Planner and the Demand Planning function. There will also be the need to work more closely with the Commercial Teams i.e. Sales and Marketing and also other Kohler associates around the world as required.

Skills/Requirements
- A Bachelors’ degree from a Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations or Materials/Logistics Management discipline is preferred but relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the use of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and/or Production Plan Detail Scheduling (PPDS) systems.
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and self-motivated to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Supported by strong numeracy, written and oral communication skills.
- Computer skills with working Windows and strong capability in Excel are essential.
