Work Mode: Remote

Location: Remote (ideal candidate will be located near Atlanta, GA or Kohler, WI for optimal account support)

Overview:

This role is responsible for achieving sales objectives for assigned categories through all channels of The Home Depot, this role combines project management, analytics, and direct selling activities. The individual will work closely with key stakeholders (internal and external), developing strong relationships with marketing, supply chain, and Home Depot teams to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies.

Role Responsibilities --

Account Management:

  • Support the Retail Sales team to drive growth within The Home Depot account, meeting or exceeding annual sales plans.
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships, including but not limited to Product Management, Channel Marketing, Customer Support, Supply Chain and Home Depot teams.
  • Identify and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Leverage insights to make informed business recommendations.
  • Develop and leverage a comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics for assigned categories (product, pricing, competition, etc.) to inform business recommendations.

  • Supports Manager – Strategic Accounts in the development of customer presentations required for Product Line Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other internal/external meetings.
  • Manage price change execution, rebate trackers, and order cancellations for assigned categories.
  • In-Store Execution:

    • Own the rollout of new products and store resets including SKU setup, order placement, order fulfillment, in-store execution, POP/merchandising, and post-set performance.
    • Partner with category management to create in-store promotion opportunities, tracking sales performance and reporting out on ROI (return on investment).
    • Support buybacks, update assortment files, and address miscellaneous store-related needs.

     Digital Sales (HD.com):

    • Oversee onboarding and maintenance of new SKUs, ensuring timely syndication and accurate pricing.
    • Utilize different fulfillment options (drop ship, distribution center stocked) to enhance the HD.com product offering and ensure SKUs remain online and buyable.
    • Provide category specific direction regarding focus products and campaign focus to the shopper marketing team.
    • Assist in the coordination of activities executed by the Kohler Brand Advocate.

    Skills/Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
    • At least 2 years of professional experience in sales, sales operations, or analytics related roles preferred.
    • Must be analytical and results oriented with good organizational, people, and leadership skills.
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Demonstrates exceptional aptitude  for organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Proven ability to openly collaborate across teams and drive results through data-driven decision-making.
    • A high degree of professionalism, tact, and excellent communication skills is required.
