Finance Analyst, FP&A Strategy

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Hybrid or Onsite – Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Kitchen & Bath Americas is seeking a highly-motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst- FP&A Strategy to join our Finance team at Kohler Co. This role will play a critical part of strategic initiatives through insightful analysis, rigorous tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), and high-impact reporting that informs leadership decision-making. You will partner with cross-functional resources to gain insights into our market and progress against our strategy to highlight forward-looking estimates on our risks & opportunities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, be a fast learner, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong financial acumen, and demonstrate a passion for turning data into credible and actionable insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with KBA Strategy and Finance leadership and contribute directly to the strategic direction of the business. This position reports to the Senior Manager FP&A, KBA.

Responsibilities:

  • Support KBA Strategy with developing and maintaining strategy scorecard, strategic initiative KPI’s, and market share analysis as well as conducting industry & competitor benchmarking
  • Support synthesis and organization of category and channel Strategic Plans and linkage of financial assumptions into financial plans for the business
  • Work cross-functionally with Strategy, Operations, Marketing, and Finance business partners to gather and validate financial data and assumptions
  • Support Financial Planning & Analysis with development of financial plans, forecasts, and related analyses, including financial presentations used in Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) & Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Collaborate with Strategy and/or M&A to support financial analysis related to potential partnerships or acquisitions that align with KBA’s mission, vision, and goals
  • Build and assess business cases for new projects, partnerships, or investments as needed in support of KBA leadership decision-making
  • Support maintenance of the long-term strategic financial plan

Skills/Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of Finance experience, including financial analysis and reporting responsibilities.
  • Experience querying and structuring data queries from ERP and/or Business Data Warehouse applications
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with PowerPoint and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Must be an effective communicator with comfort working with different teams and with an ability to articulate key insights from data analysis
  • Ability to quickly analyze and synthesize performance data from multiple sources with high attention to detail for accuracy and inconsistencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or economics
