Klaviyo is looking for a data-driven pricing leader responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing long term pricing strategies. Reporting into the VP of Pricing Strategy, this person will develop and lead cross-product monetization initiatives and per product pricing strategies. This candidate will play a key role in building out the pricing function by helping to build out the team design processes, set metrics and establish governance.

In developing monetization strategies, the Director of Pricing Strategy will be expected to generate and validate hypotheses using market, competitive, customer and partner research and analytical methods. We are looking for a self-starter and owner who will drive cross-functional participation, alignment and execution.

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Identify, lead and implement projects taking them from idea to execution in partnership with finance, marketing, product, sales and customer success.
  • Perform market research, and analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data
  • Deliver recommend solutions to senior leaders and provide regular executive updates
  • Drive implementation of recommendations, coordinating stakeholders across operations, sales, renewals, finance, marketing, and product
  • Lead efforts to improve performance of owned projects

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of general work experience, 2-5 years of Pricing Strategy experience. Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Sales Strategy experience is a plus
  • Experience leading both quantitative and qualitative pricing research
  • Experience defining pricing initiatives, rallying an organization, and seeing the strategy through implementation and measurement
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Management or Analytics related fields preferred
  • Able to identify and develop solutions to complex problems from a strategic and operational perspective
  • Able to analyze data and distill into actionable insights for senior leadership
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Capable of communicating concepts clearly and credibly to multiple audiences
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and go-to-market

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:

$208,000-$312,000 USD
