Position Summary
The Sr Manager / Associate Director, Addressable Activation is a pivotal senior programmatic role within our growing Matterkind Singapore team. Responsible for servicing some of the most recognized global and local brands across a client portfolio from our Singapore programmatic hub. We are experiencing exponential growth across the group supported by our capabilities in media, technology, data, and a commitment to building dedicated specialists that support and challenge our clients' approach. This role services multiple clients and stakeholders across an agency client portfolio, spanning both brand and performance activity across CPG, FMCG, Telco, Finance, Entertainment sectors.

The role is for a programmatic expert with 5+ year's industry experience and a proven track- record in a similar role, managing high performing programmatic campaign managers. You are responsible for managing, developing and enhancing the team's skillset and capabilities with Campaign Managers as direct reports, to deliver on clients' business objectives and exceed performance benchmarks.

Proven experience providing best in class Omni-channel programmatic solutions across strategy, planning, channel, format selection, audience segmentation, KPI and objective setting, benchmarking, optimizations, performance analysis, measurement, data strategy, proposing and testing new innovative solutions is a must.

Hands on experience trading programmatic across The Trade Desk and DV360 with a strong understanding of the Google marketing stack is compulsory. A strong understanding of data capabilities, inventory, tech partners and publishers across both Singapore and APAC region is required, utilizing your experience to guide clients to the best approach and new opportunities. Knowledge and experience with DMP's, Analytics, DCO and reporting automation/data visualization is preferred.

The Manager, Addressable Activation will have an ability to manage multiple stakeholders and expectations across competing priorities, and work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Matterkind, UM, Initiative, Reprise local and regional teams and wider IPG business units. The role may require some client facing time (although this will mainly be managed by the agency), you will be required to have an ability to showcase and demonstrate subject matter expertise both at a micro (daily optimizations) and macro (test and learn innovation projects) level. You will establish strong relationships with our tech, data and publisher partners and help drive and progress our strategic partnerships and ensure we are offering the latest capabilities for our clients. You will possess an analytical, solution-oriented nature with strong troubleshooting skills, being able to predict and identify potential roadblocks in advance and provide solutions or alternatives.

Key Responsibilities
CLIENT:

• The role functions as a key liaison between Matterkind and our agency partners.

• Lead weekly status meetings, communicate, and justify ideas, and confidently present to both internal and external groups.

• Develop a deep, trusted understanding of client's business and their objectives.

• Harvest actionable insights, use learnings, and propose strategic recommendations or innovative test and learn opportunities with solutions focus.

• Attend client meetings, presentations and briefing sessions where required.

• Able to articulate technical terms in a simple, client friendly manner.

• Work closely with agency counterparts to ensure accounts are meeting or exceeding programmatic spend/budget goals.

EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE AND TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING/ CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT:

• Own responsibility for pacing & KPI performance of all campaigns assigned to direct reports and within your client portfolio.

• Assist team with campaign implementation, launch, and daily execution/ optimization as necessary.

• Ensure efficient and sustainable workflow amongst your team.

• Direct overall optimisation strategy and act as point of escalation for performance and pacing issues.

• Manage, implement and oversee campaign best practice and correct set up in platform with QA and accountability across all activity.

• Manage bespoke PMP marketplace and deal creation for your clients working closely with Magna, DSP partners and direct publishers.

• Identify potential performance/technical issues (both micro and macro) and address as necessary with both a healthy sense of urgency and clear action points.

• Monitor media spend for a portfolio of campaigns to ensure on-time completion and targets achieved.

PEOPLE:

• Work closely with client, agency stakeholders and wider Matterkind Singapore team on the successful development, implementation and optimisation of programmatic campaigns.

• Collaborate across internal departments and client teams to diversify knowledge (industry verticals, goals, technology used, etc.)

• Responsible for the training, mentorship, and personal development plans of direct reports.

• Responsible for managing workflow, delegation and deliverables across the team and client patch.

• Support and drive corporate culture initiatives.

• Proactively schedule time with vendor partners to hone knowledge of capabilities, methodologies, and advanced optimization techniques to surface new opportunities.

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP/ INNOVATION:

• Help in designing and delivering performance updates, business reviews, new audience-based programmatic solutions and growth opportunity presentations.

• Meet regularly with marketplace to stay updated on new offerings & opportunities.

• Assist in management of cross-functional projects across optimization, technology, operations, finance, audience intelligence, client, planning agency, 3rd party.

• Support in educating colleagues /clients on programmatic & best practice.

COMMERCIAL:

• Oversee the finance process for your client patch and ensure accurate billing and timely reconciliation for all campaigns.

• Ability to track financial & media metrics reconciling performance parameters.

Desired Skills & Experience
• 8+ years industry experience in a similar role

• Bachelor's degree

• High level of technical & executional capability across programmatic tools & systems.

• Strong excel skills, data visualisation, charting and analysis.

• Analytical strength in providing insight and media solutions alongside this.

• Effective communication with clients and colleagues with an ability to simplify the complicated and over communicate details with confidence.

• Interpersonal and people management skills both internally and with client.

• Teamwork, ability to delegate, motivate and manage multiple stakeholders.

• Ability to work as an individual as part of a broader team of programmatic experts.

• Strong project and time management skills with ability to delegate and follow up.
