KinderCare is hiring a Talent & Performance Analyst to join our HR Strategy Team. As the Talent & Performance Analyst, you'll play a key role in advancing KinderCare's talent strategy by supporting the design, communication, and execution of performance management and talent programs. You'll partner with cross-functional HR teams to ensure development of key deliverables and ensure program success for Talent & Performance.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is diligent, data-literate, and a confident communicator, with a strong interest in systems and a collaborative mentality.

Responsibilities:

Program Support

  • Support the design and rollout of talent processes (performance reviews, calibration, goal setting, career pathing, organizational planning).
  • Ensure talent processes run efficiently and data integrity is maintained.
  • Support Workday business process documentation and testing scenario creation.
  • Support Jira management for Talent & Performance Workday tickets.
  • Participate in the creation of program training materials with leadership from Talent investment & culture.

Data & Reporting

  • Track metrics like performance ratings, promotion rates, talent movement, turnover, and succession bench strength.
  • Provide insights and trends to leaders for decision-making.
  • In partnership with data analytics and program leadership, develop approach for dashboards/reports in Workday.

Analysis

  • Identify gaps in skills, development, and succession pipelines.
  • Conduct people analytics to support workforce planning.
  • Partner with HRBPs and leaders to translate data into actionable strategies.

Systems

  • Serve as an administrator or subject matter expert for talent modules in HR technology.
  • Troubleshoot issues, test configurations, and support enhancements.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, Talent Management, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with data from HR systems and turning insights into action.
  • Proven track record to write clearly and concisely for diverse internal audiences.
  • Proficient in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and dashboarding tools; familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS is a plus.
  • Excellent social skills; comfortable initiating conversations and driving clarity in a collaborative environment.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.
