Join our team as a Senior Bank Reconciliation Specialist and handle sophisticated reconciliation tasks involving multiple bank accounts, high transaction volumes, intercompany transfers, and automated systems. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity of cash reporting and compliance with internal and external financial requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile high volumes of transactions daily and monthly, including wire transfers, ACH, credit card activity, and merchant settlements
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve unreconciled items, variances, and balancing differences across multiple systems or platforms
  • Collaborate with Treasury, AP, AR, IT, and field teams to ensure accurate matching and clearing of transactions
  • Automate reconciliation processes and assist with integration of reconciliation tools through Workday
  • Support audits by preparing schedules, reports, and documentation
  • Provide monthly reconciliation status updates and suggest improvements to processes and internal controls
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of ERP and bank interface updates as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (preferred) or a related field with equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in bank reconciliation, preferably in a multi-entity or high-volume environment, and a good understanding of payment processing
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial close processes
  • Ability to analyze large data sets with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficient with Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and reconciliation automation tools
  • Experience with reconciliation tools and ERP systems (Workday preferred)
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Banking or financial services proven experience
