Senior Corporate Accountant - Remote Opportunity!

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial statements, with a primary focus on lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain lease accounting schedules
- Evaluate and test lease classification
- Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for leases under ASC 842
- Collaborate with Real Estate and other internal teams to ensure the lease population is properly captured and accounted for
- Address external audit requests and support internal controls
- Assist with the preparation of the quarterly impairment analysis (ASC 360)
- Support continuous improvement of lease accounting processes
- Participate in special projects related to lease accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years related experience required with 2 years + in public accounting preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Hands on experience with ASC 842
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with Workday and/or Lucernex is a plus, or similar ERP and lease accounting systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills

Range of pay $76,300.00 - $114,500.00 Salary
