This role accommodates the evolution of Marketing Operations and the CMO organization and related financial responsibilities. To that end, this position will support the growing and changing deliverables from the Marketing Department focused on building acquisition, engagement, retention, and perceptions of the KinderCare Learning Companies family of brands. Broadly, this role provides project management support as needed, including trafficking, reporting and analysis. Works on the planning and implementation of projects that support the general marketing function. Additionally, interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion. Additionally, this role may identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives. Provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs and resellers; and supports public relations through researching, writing and editing press releases. Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future ecommerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.

Responsibilities:

  • Code PCard transactions for business owners to appropriate accounts for the PCard cut-off as well as period close cut-off
  • Distribute GL detail to business owners as needed for additional review
  • Finalize 1-Pager for CMO with Total Organization spend - National Marketing (by brand), Field Marketing (by brand), overhead (creative broken out separately)
  • Provide information on current spending per the above for business owners.
  • Meet with business owners to show them how to use templates and understand projects related to specific spend buckets
  • Assist with rolling up buckets for finance to review
  • Provide information on current spending per the above for business owners.
  • Train business owners on financial templates and understand projects related to specific spend buckets
  • Assist with rolling up buckets for finance to review and drive recommendations on spend
  • Work with business owners to inform them on proper coding to ensure coding is the correct spend buckets.
  • Reconciliations of financial data with marketing project database
  • Responsible for ROI analysis by marketing projects and developing recommendations based on results.
  • Interactions with Procurement and PO system with reconciliations to financial data
  • SOW assistance and tracking.
  • Manage updates to KinderCare, Knowledge Beginnings and KinderCare at Work Center Pages through Center Profile Manager system and make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies
  • Assist in compiling center level information related to existing family initiatives (e.g. notification of press placements)
  • Manage the Do Not Contact list

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Ideally has previous experience in supporting a business unit within a larger company
  • Excellent documentation, organization and communication skills
  • Interest in supporting a marketing team
