Due to a vacancy, we are currently seeking a Territory Manager to join our Sales team. Reporting to the Upper North Island Field Operations Manager, in this role, you will be responsible for promoting Kimberly-Clark's

You will drive growth by executing sales strategies with your grocery stores, whilst continuing to build on already well-established customer relationships. You will be responsible for effective and efficient levels of customer service whilst implementing agreed sales plans and strategies to achieve market share and sales objectives, whilst educating and training your customers on our products whilst maintaining our CRM system.

We are looking for an individual with sales experience and a personal brand that aligns with our culture, act as role model and champion our One KC Behaviours and KC Values. We are seeking a sales professional who is interested in building their runway to more sales opportunities in the future.

Further Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement successful customer specific business plans, to ensure targets are met for all product categories within budgeted trade spend.
  • 'Build Trust' with key customers (both internal and external), as you develop and maintain strong, effective working relationships.
  • Analyse store sales results to identify areas of opportunities and provide timely and accurate feedback on market intelligence within the territory, to assist the development of tactical and strategic sales plans.
  • Establish and maintain accurate customer records using computer-based tools such as iPads and 'Stay in Front'.

About You

You're also a university graduate with a degree in Sales, or a related area, and have at least 3 years of continuous work experience. Job Requirements:

  • You are highly engaged and energetic with background in sales or account management, with a solid commercial acumen and an open mind and ability to challenge the status quo and grow in the role.
  • You hold strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work autonomously, utilize time management and a planned approach to deliver outcomes.
  • You hold a valid full NZ driver's license and as a policy requirement of our retail partners, we require applicants to hold a current vaccine pass.
  • You are customer focused; as we put the customer at the heart in everything that we, you will need to have sound customer liaison skills, coupled with influencing and negotiation skills.
  • You are a team player, and you bring forward your great presentation, communication as well as stakeholder management skills and apply your commercial and systematic acumen towards achieving the results.
