    The MTM role operates and sustains the core converting and paper making manufacturing assets within our process, and you will play a key part in optimising the overall production performance of the site.

About you

In Barrow Mill safety comes first and you will be responsible for ensuring that safety and environmental standards are not only observed but improved upon. You will need an understanding of emergency procedures and follow the safe operating procedures and work instructions whilst maintaining our 3 safety obligations. You'll also utilise our site systems to report unsafe conditions. You will be able to develop diagnostic skills and use your corrective expertise to ensure rapid resolution of problems and ensure that you carry out your role in line with documented quality systems and procedures. Your communication style will allow you to provide effective shift handovers and network with wider teams to develop an understanding of site and business priorities. Experience of operating high-speed technology and advanced manufacturing equipment would be needed along with knowledge of manufacturing operations. You will monitor performance of your asset to optimise productivity and feed this into ensuring operational records are completed accurately and on time. Contributing to shift activities with other teams will help you ensure optimum use of resources and cross fertilization of good ideas. Data will help you drive decisions, and you will participate in work on shifts to ensure financial, customer service, volume and quality targets are met.Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained and carried out will be key in being effective in this role and you will set high expectations in this area. You will also complete housekeeping audits (including GMP) and take ownership of issue resolution. You will require 4 GCSE's minimum 'C' or equivalent, including mathematics and English. You will be a time served electrical/mechanical or completed any engineering/manufacturing apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 and be working towards your HNC.

When joining Kimberly Clark as an MTM you will be part of a shift team that works closely together over the course of the shift pattern. You will likely have exposure to different aspects of paper making and converting which will show the production of our premium products. This position is an exciting opportunity for you to build on your technical ability.
