The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Global FM Team, reporting to the Associate-Director for EMEA FM.

The UK & Bahrain Facilities Management Lead is responsible for the end-to-end Facility Management of soft and hard services across the UK & Bahrain sites (offices & industrial). You will work in close connection between the onsite leadership team, the FM global function and the IFM outsourced partner in the region.

About you

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the below:

  • Drive the Corporate FM Strategies and Service Delivery solution in alignment with the business needs of the internal stakeholders.
  • Own the direct budget responsibility for annual USD 15-20 MM operating expenses; indirect support of annual REFM capital projects
  • Drive contract governance framework and escalation strategy with clearly defined escalation processes; monitor effectiveness and adjust as required.
  • Implement and manage operational risk management standards through the IFM(s) provider.
  • Manage the audit program and direct performance improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver on safe operation and compliance with Kimberly Clark, Corporate Security and EHS facility policies as well as all the regulatory requirements; Assure response to emergencies; support business continuity and disaster recovery. Liaise with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Security Crisis Management (SCM) functional leads ensuring IFM delivery of scope.
  • Support workplace transformation initiatives
  • Responsible for the communication and implementation of all Corporate FM strategies, policies and procedures
  • Support soft services scope delivering constant improvement in catering & cleaning services

What we'll need from you:

  • Educated to degree level in Business / Facility / Real Estate Management and/or recognised industry certification
  • Significant (ideally 10+ years) experience in Facilities, Workplace or Real Estate operations
  • Extensive experience in managing FM services within an FMCG Manufacturing operations environment OR extensive experience working as the outsourced FM Service Provider Lead within an FMCG Company
  • Experience in supplier relationship, governance, and contract performance management
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting process in a corporate environment
  • Proven experience in Soft services management, including catering and cleaning services
  • Analytical skillset
  • Excellent English language and communication skills
  • Proficiency in another European language is a plus
